Is it wrong of me to grab up a few great balls I found at the range?

I was at my home course today hitting some balls at the range and noticed that there were quite a few really decent balls in my bucket. So I had a closer look and sure enough there were tons! Callway, Nike, Titleist...There was no one else on the range so I figured what the hell? I had a quick walk around (at most 30 yards into the range) and grabbed two entire cargo pockets full of top dollar balls. Is this wrong? I almost feel compelled to go give them back. Any thoughts fellow golfers?
