Moving to Addison on Monday. Don't know anyone- looking to meet some new people, starting with an able body to move a few boxes and a bed. Beer will be provided... or beer money (your choice).

First off, don't let the lack of comments/activity fool you. I have an anonymous account as my main, so I'm not some guy trying to steal reddit help. I also have been around in r/Dallas to learn about what I'm in for.

As the title says, I'm moving a couple thousand miles across country and getting in on Monday. I don't know anyone in Dallas, and I've been eying this subreddit for a few months. Seems really great, and I hope that I can meet some of you. Anyway, I have only a few boxes, a bed (with box spring), and a TV in the back of a Uhaul. All-in-all, it shouldn't take but an hour I'd say to get the big items I really need help with. You'll be compensated with beer, beer money, or both (your choice... beer only if you're of age, of course).

I'll be ready to start moving things in around 5:00 pm I assume. PM me if you're interested!

I saw r/TexasFavors, but it seemed pretty dead so I apologize if you guys don't like these things in this one.

UPDATE: Sorry for not updating you guys. I didn't have access much to a computer since I posted this as I did the move soon after. Thankfully my apartment complex's maintenance guy helped me move in the two things I couldn't do alone. That said, I'm still down to meet some Dallas redditors. This isn't my main account, so I won't respond much here but if there is a meetup I'll hopefully be there!
