Is it weird that I make no noise during sex?

When I was growing up we had very thin walls.

As a result of this, I would hear my neighbours at it all the time.

It wasn't sexy time noises like you would find in a movie but more of a primordial grunting juxtaposed with the slapping of belly to belly.

Now, I find it really difficult to get into the moment and make any noise during sex so I just move as little as possible while staring silently into her eyes as I nail her.

She says it is creepy but I always picture a 6 year old boy during sex, next door, through the wall, listening to us while he cries himself to sleep and I refuse to put anyone else through that.

Should I just start dating necrophiliacs or is there a way to get over this?
