Beginner guitar Build

Hey r/guitar, for my final year wood shop project Im building a guitar that is specifically designed for Beginners. I just need a little help with the details. In your opinion, what makes a great starter guitar? Any ideas in terms of body styles, finish and pickups would be appreciated.
