So something has been bothering me...(spoilerish I guess to book 10)

I'm currently on the 10th book and this little thing has been bugging me since the 4th book. And I'm hoping somebody can give me a spoiler free answer to this question.

Do Rand and Egwene ever get together and "talk out it" so to speak? I mean the fact that they loved each other was a major plot point for a long time, and then she just sort of tells him its over and thats that. These books have grabbed me on an emotional level that I haven't felt from fiction in a long time, and despite the fact that I'm a cynical, bitter, and calloused person I feel a little bit robbed from that relationship. I want to know if they ever get together and discuss the fact that they just drifted apart.

Also, as long as I have your attention I think I will also ask this: Tuon is really annoying and I'm wondering if Mat ever puts her in place?

If I could get just sort of a spoiler free answer for these questions, it would be greatly appreciated.
