A children's movie just depressed the hell out of me. [MADAGASCAR 3 SPOILERS!!!]
I just need to get this out.
I work at the movies, so I get free movies. They let me off early today, and I decided to watch a movie. So I went to see Madagascar 3 in 3D(it's free so who cares?).
I'm a little down hearted at all the families and couples going in but it was whatever because I'm fond of the Madagascar movies (yeah I know). The movie is pretty funny to me and I'm enjoying myself.
[SPOILERS BEGIN HERE. READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL]. There is a circus scene. The scene is amazing, with neon lights and animals everywhere. It was, in my opinion, one of the best 3D scenes I've seen (but most suck anyway). So it gets to a part where alex the lion and a jaguar girl do the trapeze. After a few jumps they meet each other, surrounded by lights and stars and flying animals. They stare lovingly into each others eyes. And with a song by Katy Perry playing in the background, you could tell they were meant to be. And that they were enjoying themselves. I realized that I'd never have that. The love, the friends and all the fun that all the animals were having. The pure enjoyment in all of the animals faces, and the passion, the...sexual tension between the two cats. I'll never know what sexual tension feels like. I have yet to experience anything that would give me excitement like those animals experienced. I don't want to join a circus or anything, I just want someone to love me back, and a group of friends who'd never turn their backs on me, as we experience joy like that. Hell, the scene with the giraffe and the hippopotamus dancing, clearly realizing they both love each other beat me down a little. [SPOILERS END HERE]
TL;DR: Children's movie made me realize I'll never feel love ;-;
