No one listens to my Soundcloud tracks..

I've gotten 9 plays on Soundcloud total, but like 3 of them were from me. The remix I did is only semi-tolerable-sounding dubstep, but good enough to get a few downloads I guess. But no one's listening to the songs, and I'm not getting any feedback, or even a chance to show my tracks. I just put up a pretty dope mix but no one's played it yet. I'll be DJing at a few bars in a few days (for the first time), but I can't seem to get any sort of audience online. How did you guys get any listeners, even just a few, when you first started out?
