Red ball of light over the Northland anyone?
I'm sure everyone here is going to have a lot of fun at my expense for posting this, but I was sitting on my deck, smoking with my wife, when we both noticed a red ball moving south to north; about the speed of a small plane but making no noise and it had no tail.
Figured at first that it was a shooting star because it had the same color as a fire, but it was moving in an arrow straight direction but it had no tail on it like a shooting star would and at a constant speed yet never "burned out"
Just wondering if anyone else might have seen this around 9:45pm on 6/23.
