Does anyone think that the upcoming pyro update will have any effect on the current competitive scene?

I'm insanely psyched for this update, but I am also kind of worried. I just started playing lobbies as a pyro (by far my best/ most played/ favorite class) and I am enjoying the hell out of it. I'm worried though that this update will:

A. Completely redefine the pyro's role in HL, and I'll have to learn all over again.

Or B. A huge influx in pyro players in Lobbies/ comp games, making it that much harder for me and/or other pyros to play.

Any thoughts?
