I'm thinking of making a new archer character. Help.

I've gone through 300+ hours of my current character and I can't decide if I want to make a new character and use all of the knowledge of good techniques and tactics as an archer to get myself as far as possible, or if I should just keep my current character and try to get to level 81.

Opinions would be great, but I'd like personal insight towards a the issue of new characters vs. toughing it out to 81. If you can help, please do, I'm really torn on this one.
