Graduate Students of Reddit, whats your worst TA/Research experience. I'll start with the one.

Not me but this is something that happened few years ago at Caltech. Erick Carreira, a Caltech Chemist wrote a sternly-worded letter to a member of his research team, Guido Koch in which he reprimands Koch for his absence in the lab on evenings and weekends. Also Carreira was surprised Koch's gutsy request to take a vacation. This letter was featured on Chemistry Blog last June (2010). I found it through facebook and when I read this, I was like is this shit for real??. So reddit, whats your story?? link!
