Is anyone else going to ignore the EC?

Or hide from it, I guess is a better way to word it. Personally, the last few minutes kind of broke the ME universe for me. I have no faith the EC will make it any better, so I'm just going to live in my own headcanon, like I did when Star Wars went completely off the fucking rails.

Just wondering if anyone else felt this way.
