When I was 10 I was trying to swallow a pill, my dad got sick of me choking on it and told me just to raise my glass up and drink. I spilled water all over myself, what is the stupidest thing you've ever done that made sense at the time?

To clarify, I was trying to swallow a headache pill and I was having trouble, my dad said that I should just put my cup over my head and drink. At the time it made sense and I did it but ended up just pouring the whole cup of water over my head.
