I need help, I want to ask a girl I've liked for a long time out but can never muster the courage to do so. For those who have experienced this, how did you get over it??
Please don't give me that bullcrap answer "Just believe in yourself."
I've known, and liked her for three years. Recently I've found out that we share a lot of the same music, art, and reading interests. We went to the same concert a few days ago, my friends went and said hi to her, and tried to drag me along but I chickened out, and went to go buy a t-shirt of the band instead. I texted her for the first time at the concert but it was just to ask where she was at. I know I will see her at a concert next month because it's a small venue. I keep wanting to ask her out despite the fact that I am highly likely to be rejected, even though we get along fantastically. This is due to the fact she hasn't been in a relationship before to my knowledge and has said no to my friends of whom I view as being better people than myself, and everyone that has asked her.
A) How do I get over my fear of talking to her? How did you do it?
B) How do I get over the fear of rejection by her, as I haven't had this fear before for other women?
