So I have this friend who is INSANELY overbearing.
He won't let his girlfriend go out and party without holding it against her and yelling at her about it. He won't let her talk to ANY guys cuz he says "that's not the kind of relationship he wants to be in" he even once got mad at her because she wouldn't delete her Facebook. They're both 20.
She crashed his car and he used that in his defense when she defended her case. And he also, gets mad and plays the victim when she brings up the fact that she doesn't like him abusing prescription pills and brings up things like "I let you go to that party one time" or "You crashed my car dude."
So pretty much, he's always the victim and never admits he's wrong. I tell him he's obviously not over the things she's done and that he should leave her if he's not over those things. He seems to think he's the victim no matter what and I can't get through to him neither can anyone else. So Reddit, work your magic so he can see this and get a little insight on what he's doing wrong.
TL;DR Friend is extremely overbearing towards his girlfriend and will never admit when he's wrong because he doesn't even believe he's doing anything wrong and plays the victim no matter the case. Even when he does something wrong. And I'm hoping there's someone who has some experience in this sort of thing so I can shed some light on him because I know this is very unhealthy.
