Skunked?

Trying to decide if I actually got a skunked beer, or if I'm just not a fan of saisons. I pick up my first bottle of Saison Dupont the other day and when I opened it today you could smell it all through my basement. My wife could smell the beer in a glass from well across the room and agreed it smelled pretty foul. I didn't much care for the taste either. While it wasn't as bad tasting as the smell, I couldn't taste any of the flavors most people described in reviews.

So my question is, did I get a skunked bottle, or is Saison Dupont just not for me?
