Would you guys like stricter moderation?

I've been seeing quite a bit of complaints in the past few weeks about all the useless links, photos, videos, etc, and how it is becoming watered down by shallow content.

Since I've been mod I've allowed the community to moderate itself using the voting system, but it does seem that a lot of useless content still manages to get upvoted. I too would like to see more quality content, however I am reluctant to begin heavily moderating this place because I do not want to run off a lot of our new subs and those new to skateboarding.

So, please, voice your opinion, and maybe we can find a happy medium. For example, pictures with pros, to me, does seem useless, and shallow, as well as pictures of spots, and setups. If the prospect of removing such content interests you then by all means voice your opinion and let's see what we can come up with.

edit: It seems like people want memes, rage comics, and setups removed. I will start there. Now, the community probably ought to stop fueling the "how-to" trend by not answering the questions, downvoting the posts, and referring them to r/NewSkaters and r/TrickTips.

Also, please start reporting memes, rage comics, and setups, because I cannot catch them all just by browsing.
