Guys (and perhaps girls) of Reddit...how many of you, against all odds, "got the girl"?

I am taking the first step from lurker to full-on Redditor. I was thinking a lot and was wondering how many of you guys actually ended up with the girl/guy you have strong feelings for. What is the most unlikely and incredible experience you have had with finding and ending up with the girl/guy you've been stuck on?
