Cutaway accuracy......

A friend of mine had a cutaway at the DZ on Friday. He thought he saw where his freebag landed (but didn't see the main), so a friend and I went and I looked for his stuff while he finished dubbing his tandem's video. Turns out, his free bag and main landed right on top of each other in the middle of the road. 10 ft to the north were power lines and a cornfield. 10 ft to the south was another cornfield. I was utterly amazed when I picked up the main and found the free bag sitting right underneath. Also, he is a master rigger, and saved his own life. Pretty awesome Friday.
