[TOMT][Music] Recent (modern rock) song with acoustic guitar

All I know is the following:

• The song was being played pretty frequently on the local modern rock station for the last few months
• The chorus (or at least, what I recall being the chorus) alternates between singing and fairly harsh acoustic guitar strumming
• The song has a lot of extended, multi-note "woahhh"s
• The tempo is somewhat slow

This was stuck in my head for days last month, but I had no idea what it was called or who it was by. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
