[Build Help] New HTPC Build
Hi guys,
I've build my own computer before, but this is my first HTPC build. Any input and suggestions would be welcome.
I would like this build to be able to play 1080p video, DTS sound from MKVs, run XMBC, ROMS for various old gaming systems, serve as a media server (which means it'll be doing the downloading from usenet and bitorrent and be on 24/7) and mumble server. I have 5 1TB HDs that I plan on putting in RAID 10 5 and sticking in here for storage.
I already have a gaming machine for every day use, but its a bit of a power hog so I'm trying to move this functionality to a new machine and reduce power usage. I'd like to keep the price decently low since its just a HTPC.
Thanks in advance!
