Commercial examples of beer brewed with wild rice?
I'm thinking of brewing a beer with wild rice. I've done a bit of research and am getting numbers between 10-30% of total grain bill for the wild rice.
That's a pretty wide range, so I was hoping to find a commercial example of a beer utilizing wild rice that I could hopefully find in Minnesota, so I could get a better idea as to how much the wild rice effects the end flavor.
There's a brew pub in the area, Barley John's that has a year round wild rice beer, and I've asked the brewer what percentage of the grain bill is wild rice, and he declined to give out that info, which I can understand, to an extent. Other than that, I'm mostly just seeing seasonals, and I'm in the wrong season.
Does anyone know of any commercial wild rice beers available in Minnesota/Western Wisconsin this time of the year?
