What is the most inspirational action that someone has done that you've ever been inspired by?

This isn't me, but it is very cool/inspiring. My dad used to be a heavy smoker, back when I was about a year old, and my sister (age 7 approx) used to suck on her thumb, a lot. One day, my dad was going to light one up when my sister said: "Hey, when will you stop smoking daddy?" in reply my dad said "When'll you quit suckin' on your thumb?" Right then and there, my sister sat on her hand and said "Fine, no more suckin'!" This inspired my dad to commit to quit smoking. It turns out that my dad went to the doctor to talk about what happened and the doctor laughed and said "Man, your daughter has some balls because she has been suckin' her thumb forever! It's a lifelong habit for her, it will be harder for her to quit than it will be for you". In the end, both of em' quit their habits and life goes on.

tl;rd My dad was inspired to quit smoking because my sister quit sucking her thumb.
