I just discovered /r/RaisingKids, a more content-rich subreddit with deep, interesting conversation about parenting.
I understand that people want to see pictures of other people's cute kids, but frankly, I can't handle another "watch my neglected 8-month-old baby eat a kit-kat" video.
As it turns out, there's an alternative that I only just discovered because I so rarely directly visit subreddits (and thus, did not see the Related Subreddits bar): http://www.reddit.com/r/raisingKids
So if anyone else is tired of the cute-kid pics, tired of the lame, soft-science articles, tired of one nothing-post after another, maybe try subbing r/raisingKids. It seems there's some good stuff over there.
