Oops!
A little background. I'm female and I came out to my parents as bi a few years ago. Ever since then my family has paid more attention to the gay community. Fast forward to today.
We were sitting there watching T.V. and my dad decides to ask "Do you think being gay is something you're born with?" My dad, sister and mom all say its something you're born with and when they get to me in true fashion I answer with my theory.
Well I begin like the psychologist I'm studying to become and accidentally mention "And I'm pansexual"
My dad says, "What the hell is that?"
My sister says, "It basically means you love everyone." My dad and mom were like "Ooooh" and they changed the topic. On the inside I'm thinking "Fuck!"
Just thought I'd share that little story. Nothing remarkable. But it got the blood pumping because I wasn't planning on telling them.
TL;DR I outed myself once again. Everything went better than expected.
