Just realized, Benders are Jedi

So we now know Amon was a bloodbender and while there was some talk about him maybe being able to energy bend we have no proof of that.

So what I am thinking maybe the ability to bend, which we have surmised is genetic, is controlled by the blood much like Jedi's have a large count of Midi-chlorians maybe benders have a similar thing in their blood which determines what they can bend and how well they can bend it. All this would explain why Amon could take that ability away with his extremely strong ability to manipulate blood.

In my mind this theory makes bending even cooler.
