Let me remind you that in the future, Atheists will be jerks (read before downvoting).

The main reason Atheists now look the "smart" people is because atheism is a MINORITY.

About 50% of the population just go where the MAJORITY is. It's an adaptive response. CONFORMITY!.

So, for our luck, most of those people are religious because the majority is religious. Once the number of atheists overpass the number of religious people, there will be a drastic change and those who go along with the majority will become atheists. As a consequence, most atheists will be jerks.
