/r/books, can you help?

Hey r/books!

I want to create a blog about literature. I know that the Interwebs is absolutely saturated with them, but I still feel like there is maybe still a small place for me in there. I'm currently exploring the different approaches I could possibly take with this new project, and would greatly appreciate any opinions or suggestions!

I am French Canadian, and so am very open to reviewing French and Quebecois literature as well as anything else written in English. Would there be an audience for this? I'm struggling with choosing which language I should write in, and wonder if writing in both French and English (separate posts for separate books), would be confusing for readers. Maybe I should simply stick to writing in English about books written in different languages. I read a bit of everything. Would it be a better idea to make my blog focused on only one "genre"? Lastly, what are some creative ideas for something I could do to make this blog stand out from others?

Right now, I am thinking of reviewing new literature, as I think that newly published writers should benefit from some exposure on the nets. I, however, mostly read classics and modern classics, and so would probably also write on those reads on the side.

Thanks in advance for any kind of help you guys can provide for this! I'm super driven by the prospect of making this happen :)
