when was the first time you new that your belief's didn't work with the churches?
when I was around 3-4 my parents took me to sunday school. my sunday school teacher told me to draw a picture of the beginning of time so of course i drew the big bang (not easy to draw whenever your a 3-4 year old) and whenever the teacher asked me what it was, I told her. and she got all flustered and tried to tell me that it wasn't correct. Well I asked her why it was wrong and she started to stutter and get frustrated and was obviously about to explain the christian story of creation to me. But she just told me it wasn't the bibles way and walked away. And say what you will but i'm eternally grateful that she didn't explain it to me because if she did tell me that it was wrong. If she had told me god's story it's most likely that i would be a christian today. But sense she didn't tell me that I was wrong I was always aloud to believe what I wanted to and that was science. (when did you realize that your belief's weren't the same as the churches?)
