[Build Help] Need a droolable monitor for art stuff.

I'm a jewelry designer and basically want to stop drooling when I go into an Apple store and see their monitors. Would a Dell UltraSharp do that, or should I get something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150808035022#ht_6609wt_905 Which is better, or a safer bet, all around to match or improve upon the IMac 27 inch screen? Money is a bit of an issue, but either are doable. I have two 560 Ti's.
