Would you say visiting /luciddreaming "in general" helps you LD, browsing as opposed to studying and investigating the subjects within?
I ask because at one point I was sticking to one RC in particular with limited success. Later in one of my dreams I performed a very different RC that I read a lot about in this subredit, and it worked. Thing is I never performed this new RC in real life. It seems to me browsing this subredit--reading about stories and various tips without consciously taking them into account or deliberately focusing on them when planning the next LC--gets all that potentially useful information interwoven with your memory, increasing the chances of them getting picked up by your subconscious when it extrapolates information from your memory when projecting images and scenarios.
