Is it OK to go bar hopping by myself?

I'm 21 and I'm a guy. I'm in college, and I'm an athlete. To my knowledge I'm generally well-respected and well-liked. I'm home for the summer and my school is far away. It's been 3 years since high school, a few of the people I keep in touch with are home. I made some choices that prevent me from being close to my old high school crew.. (I spent a year in south america) I could reconnect with some girls from high school but thats boring and stupid anyways. I want to go to the local beach bars and have the kind of summer you see in the movies.

Should I hit up dem bars by myself? I think so. What do you think?
