Strange mouse bug... Anyone else have this problem? (I have video!)
Hello hello r/minecraft. I've got quite an odd bug for you today! Today I was playing minecraft as per usual, without any issues. Then, i go and hook up my laptop to my TV so I can play it on the big screen, and I encountered a really strange bug: All sort of camera movement is fine and working as usual until I hit Escape. After that, any time I move my mouse, the camera rapidly moves to the right. If I move it to up, it's up and to the right. If I move it down, down and tot he right. If I move it right, it moves REALLY fast to the right, and if I move it to the left, it moves crazily to the left. I have tried:
- Removing and reinstalling Java
- Deleting the entire .minecraft folder
- Restarting my laptop
- Updating my graphics card drivers
- Switching from the "high performance" AMD GPU to the integrated Intel GPU
- Updating the lightweight lava input binaries
- Using a different mouse
- Using the trackpad
- Disabling the trackpad and attached keyboard, and using several different USB keyboards and mice
So far, nothing has worked. I have never had an issue like this, and nothing I do seems to fix it. I would appriciate any input you guys can provide.
My laptop specs are:
The laptop is an HP DV6T-6c00 2nd generation quad core intel i7 edition.
- AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT
- Intel i7 2670QM Quad core processor at 2.2GHZ and 8 threads
- 1366x768 720p display
The TV was plugged in via HDMI.
