Daily Reddit Posts For Upcoming Steam Summer Sale 2012

Hey Steamers!

Steam's annual summer sales in 2011 and 2010 both started on the last Thursday in June, so my bet is that this year's sale will start Thursday, June 28th.

Reddit has been a great place to get information on these sales, thanks to redditors like ltx, Remmib, squidthesid, CommentStatistics and others. Subreddits like r/gaming and r/games have played host to these redditors' daily posts, while subreddits such as r/steamdeals and r/GameDeals have carried the torch between the big sales.

Sadly, ltx will only be available to do his daily posts on the weekends. But Remmib will still be on hand to do his daily posts and I've offered to step in for ltx on weekdays. Plus, squidthesid has agreed to once again provide his excellent commentaries on the games.

Just over a week ago, I posted a request for input on the template I plan to use for my daily posts during the sale. I posted this request to r/gaming, r/Games, r/GameDeals, and r/steamdeals. You may have seen and even participated in the discussion on one of those threads. I got lots of great input and changed the template as suggestions rolled in.

I've posted the resulting template to r/GameDealsMeta. If you're interested in seeing it, you can check it out here:
