How much do you walk your corgi daily?

There was a thread over at MyCorgi.com and it seems that all but a few have very active, mountain climbing corgis doing 5 mile hikes everyday through the country side. I was surprised to hear this because my last corgi didn't like to do anymore than a half mile of walking, any more and she'd sit on her butt and make me carry her home like a baby (a heavy 30 pound baby.) So I'm curious now, how much exercise does the average corgi get?
