So for those of you in a minimum wage job, does your company do meetings and try to motivate you with their corporate bullshit?

I'm just a part time cashier at the a Home Depot. I'm looking to get a better job.

Tomorrow I gotta go at 5AM for some mandatory meeting that ends at 7. Then I gotta come back at 11AM to work til' 5.

Granted the shift aint bad. But those meetings are annoying. Do the higher ups really think that us, the minimum wage tired and frustrated earning employees really give a shit about how much we made for suits up in the mansions?

Then they come up with some chant that they want everyone to participate in. Everyone claps while spelling home depot.

Ya I'm glad I have a job and all, but I dont need their bullshit fed to me. Let them celebrate in their mansions I just wanna be here for my shift and get the fuck out, and hopefully land my career soon.
