Gay Beach in Los Angeles?

I have heard rumors from time to time of a gay beach in Los Angeles. More specifically, it is a section of beach between lifeguard towers on Will Rogers (Palisades beach)... does anyone know of said beach? Have you been? Thinking about going tomorrow, with plenty of joints packed.
