Contemplating whether or not I should get Mount and Blade

Hey guys, so I was just wondering if you thought I should get Mount and Blade. I'm looking on steam now and I see that there are 4 different games; the original, warband, napoleonic wars, and with fire and sword. The total for that would be $35 which really isn't bad.

I was just wondering if you thought it was worth it to get them, I saw the napoleanic wars trailer and that looks so fun.

Do people still play these games? Are they as fun as they look? is it worth it to get all four of them? Which one is most popular?

Thank you in advance for all of the help :)
