Inguinal Hernia Concerns

90% certain I have an inguinal hernia. There is a bulge on the right side of my pubic bone, I've been nauseous and had frequent urination. Pain is specific to the bulge site and it radiates down my inner thigh. Hurts when I cough/exhale deeply.

My big concern is, if it is a hernia, the surgical complications. Mostly, I'm concerned that after the surgery I'll have constant pain in the groin region until forever as well as sexual complications. Worried that sex will hurt or semen will be effected. I don't want to be sterile or have it lower my libido/desire for sex because of pain. Any words of wisdom would be great.
