Questions regarding an actuarial career
I'm an aspiring actuary having just completed my sophomore year at the University of Illinois and passing the FM Exam in April and taking Exam P in late July. I've just got some questions about the career in general so I know what I'm really getting into.
1: How and when do you decide what field to go into? 2: How and when do you decide which organization to join? 3: are all 5 preliminary exams about the same difficulty? which are the harder ones? 4: If I can graduate from college having passed all 5 preliminary exams, what can I expect my job market to be like?
Any responses would be great.
