DAE feel like LOK is missing something?

I'm a fan of LOK don't get me wrong but something has been missing in the show for me. TLA had an energy to it that LOK has never really had - I think it got close with "And the winner is...".

I think the pace of the show is a bit slow and the characters take themselves a little bit too seriously.
