My finest high moment

Last month I had a soccer tournament in an unfamiliar town. One night, 3 friends and myself proceed to pack 3 bowls in my trusty bubbler. We all reached a solid [7] and walked around a bit before dinner. It was a dinner where the whole team sat together. My parents were there, as well as the coaches. Luckily, I acted perfectly fine and I made it out of there. Unfortunately, I left my jacket in the restaurant and it is a fairly cold night. The four of us walk downtown and plan to see a movie in a couple hours. About 20 minutes later I get a call from my parents. They tell me I forgot my jacket and insist they bring it to me because I'll freeze (parents :S ) I have to agree in order to prevent an argument at a [5]. 5 minutes later they call me to tell me they are here and I see their car at the same time. I walk over to them, with my phone STILL HELD NEXT TO MY HEAD, and talk to them. My parents say, "uhhh, son you are still talking to us through your phone" I panic and respond, "I'm really tired" I grab the jacket and walk away.

Looking back, I have to wonder how stupid I looked talking on the phone to their face. HAHAHHAA
