Reddit: Is there someone you can't get over, even after months or years?
... The answer for me, predictably, is yes.
I fell for a younger guy at a force and velocity that would tactfully be described as inexplicable and ill-advised. He made a lot of mistakes over the course of our relationship, trust was broken and I severed ties. I still love him. I still want to see him every day. We go long periods of time without speaking, but every time we reconnect, he proves to me again that a) he's still the person I am passionately in love with, and b) he's just not emotionally mature enough to be in a relationship. So, reddit, tell me your lovelorn tales.
Bonus points for happy endings!
