Reddit, do you think the friend-zone is real? If so, is there an escape?

I'm a girl and I've always been curious about guys' perspective on the friend-zone. I have several guy friends and I love them, but none of us have romantic feelings for one another. I'm just genuinely curious as to what the general consensus about the existence of the friend-zone is. If you're a guy or a girl out there, reddit, and you think you're stuck in the friend-zone, what do you do to get out? And if you've gotten out, how did you do it?
