so I just bought a pair of matched rodes nt5s and....

I've not done a lot of stereo recording before, never had many issues with phasing - but now! Phasing everywhere, all the time, these puppies seem to be totally phase freaky - it's kind a freaking me out. But when I use one of them with another kind of microphone, like my ribbon or an sm7 or a large diaphragm condenser everything calms down. So, is that how it goes with matched mics?
