Accessing Australian satellite TV from NZ

So I'm getting pestered by my better half to get Sky installed in the house, but having looked at the available channels it seems a bit pricy for what it provides.

I was wondering if anyone had experience of accessing (decrypting) Ozzie pay per view channels; specifically Foxtel.

I'd be interested in all aspects, from the hardware to resources online!

cheers!
