Finally found a girl who likes me,at work

I dropped out of highschool due to behavior and mental issues and have been have been going through part time jobs ever since but ever since i got my GED a year ago at 23 and going to college,my life has been gradually getting better. I've never had a girlfriend before or have had a girl show interest in me until now . She's really cute and has a really amazing personality and has been able to get me out of my shell quite a bit and i really like her back.I already went on a couple dates with her and I want to make it official. The only problem is that she's 17 but she's very mature for her age and probably even more mature than me personalitywise.I've also read up on the laws concerning the age of consent in nyc and its pretty legal.Do you think its bad for me to pursue a relationship with her?I don't think the age gap is that bad either considering my parents were had a much larger age gap.I've always felt my mind was still stuck in my teenage years due me never really having been able to fully experience my own youth and I feel like I can connect with her alot more than women my own age.
