Hey, thanks for your feedback! Love the username, btw. I kept it all together because I was worried that breaking it up would mess up the flow of it. Criticism to that is welcome as well so I can improve future post. As for it ending abruptly, I like to think of it as getting off track in an example and then quickly realizing the original point again. But perhaps I will add more! Hey! I really love the idea of a poem being a flower. I really think this piece would do even better with more attached at the end because I think it ends a little abrupt. However, other than that I like central focus of the poem. I was wondering is there a particular reason you chose to keep it all together?

Like the other commenter, I also think a poem being compared to a flower is fitting and I like it. 

I think it would do the piece good if there wasn't so much hesitation in the beginning. Take my advice with a grain of salt though. If you like that sort of tone, keep it. As long as you can see what i'm saying.

A bunch of poetic lines truly are a bunch of flowers. Well written:)

You wrote this, friend, like someone would if they were penning a teacher-pleasing essay response in Sophomore English. Especially in the beginning. I'm not saying this style can't \*be\* poetry. Damn near anything can be poetry (and good, classic, enduring poetry at that!) if executed well and in an artistic and satisfying manner. But how does your essayistic style here help to fulfill the ambition of the poem?

If you want to show us how much you are head over heels for poetic expression, or if you want to help me to feel that verses written in love are a bouquet of flowers, or if you want a very specific certain somebody to feel all warm and tingly in their nether regions, then something \*far\* more lyrical is more than likely the better approach. I'd recommend going back to the drawing board, and I recommend cutting a lot of your unnecessary words. 

Jump right into the action, and go for broke. Remember, the goal here is not to write \*about\* poetry. The goal is to \*make it\* o

I love poetry. Not necessarily because I love it personally, though I do! How do I explain? It’s like being a florist I imagine. The flowers are beautiful with their bright pedals and fragrant scents, but what do they mean without someone to share them with? The poems written with love are always a little sweeter when I read them to you. I want to send you a bouquet of pieces written with admiration and longing, tied together with hope and a bow. Will you put them in a vase filled with pleasant thoughts to keep them from wilting? Yes, I love poetry, because I love sharing poetry with you.
