I live in australia and have a 4ft tank, temperature is normally between 22-25c.

My hoplos and cories are fantastic at ripping up my plants, ive got most under rocks. Id love some plants with bigger leaves as the hoplos like to laze around on them, but need something with strong roots

GO for as many floating plants as you can or ones that do well either planted or floating (Water Sprite comes to mind).

You can also glue or tie some of your plants to a rock before planting. Your catfish will dig all around them, but they won’t float up.

A healthy Anubias glued to driftwood is working well for me, as is a very large Crinum; both seem relatively impervious to my catfish.

The one that is doing the worst is the Amazon sword; it's massive and they like to snack on any new growth leaves.

Somewhere in between is the Sag grass; they do uproot it periodically, but I have so much that I don't bother re-planting it and discard the few sprigs when they float to the top.
