1. THE GOLDEN RULE: HARVEST ALL FRUIT BEFORE LETTING A DRAGON EAT IT. Harvested fruit (any level) gives golden fruit which has double the affection! This means you do not have to feed the dragon it’s preferred fruit (red, blue, green) because they all love golden fruit.
2. Don’t worry about 5-merging eggs. It’s virtually impossible to save enough eggs and still open lands. If you want to try, you only need to save the glutton dragon eggs which has one leftover at the end. Other breeds are drip fed to you one at a time.
3. Don’t merge up your lvl 3 conjurers—it starts giving lvl 2 items which is great, but it’s a spam-tap kinda event so mass merging is faster. Try to get to two lvl 3 conjurers, it speeds up the process a lot when you have double the tappers.
4. Conjurers don’t disappear when you deplete them so tap to your heart’s content! It will grow bigger and ready to tap again after a few seconds. Conjurers also give two types of items, one is more rare so if you can’t find something, might need to tap your conjurers more.
5. Prepare for grinding: five-merge quest items as much as possible because unless they adjust the RNG, the event will ask you to make some lvl 6 and 7 items OVER AND OVER.
6. You can see how many eggs you have left to find by clicking the tamed dragon book (heart-shaped cover) in top left corner. You should have 5x eggs left in the mystery section when you complete the event, these are eggs on premium land that costs 750 gems. Probably not worth it, but there is a new breed under there if you’re interested.
7. You must merge heal dead land, there’s no life orbs, so carefully check out the higher lvl items you can merge heal to get an extra boost on your item-making.
8. This is a fully active event, there’s basically no way to play passively without an auto-clicker and script (and even then, you might not be clicking the right items). With active play, budget more than 5 hours of play time (may be faster or slower depending on luck, interruptions, etc.)
9. There are some conjurer pieces on dead land so keep an eye out for them if you feel like you can’t build them up, they’re hidden away in the dead land. You also get more conjurer pieces by unlocking land.
10. You will hate orange books by the end of this event, full stop. Jk. Quick summary of gameplay: Tap conjurers for quest items, merge quest items up to get chests on the left side of the screen. Open those chests, get fruit, HARVEST THE FRUIT, feed golden fruit to dragons to tame them. Merge heal all the land to find more eggs and conjurers. Rinse, wash, repeat.
